Professional Issues in Nursing
Introduces the student to professional issues relevant to current trends in nursing, leadership and management. The emphasis is placed on role transition and promoting an environment of quality patient care and safety. Prerequisites: BIO 153, NUR 112, and NUR 119 with a grade of “C” or higher, and NUR LC2 with a grade of “CP”. Prerequisites for PN to RN students: NUR 129 and BIO 153 with a grade of “C” or higher. Co-requisites: NUR 211 and NUR LC3.
